I was so hopeful for this third book in the Grounded trilogy to be as well written as the first two. I am delighted to inform future reader that I was not disappointed. The story's plot and action kept me interested and guessing what troubleLydia and Korwin would get into next and how they would extract themselves from it. This entire series is appropriate for tweens through adults. I would recommend it to anyone who likes light romance, futuristic,adventure, mildly religious, and paranormal stories. None of these elements are overwhelmingly.

I did enjoy this series. I am not usually a sci first person, but my husband got me stared with the first book because I Love to read anything Amish. This was a very interesting trilogy and I liked the way you weaved the Amish culture with the Sci Fi aspect. The characters were excellent. Good job
This is a great way to end the trilogy! The reader gets a peek at the good and not so good technological advancements of society i like to see how the modern society meshes with the Amish society. Enjoy!!!
The Grounded series is another triumph for G. P. Chang. Her ability to take a fictitious idea of a future society and keep the reader's attention so expertly is a testimony to quality of her writing and storytelling. Chang is primarily a young person's author, but she had this older adult completely enthralled. I got the first book as one of those free deals and found the plot and writing style so intriguing that I had to purchase the other two books (I guess those free deals work). If you have a teenager or young adult in your family, I highly suggest that you recommend this series to them. It wouldn't hurt to buy the series for yourself as well.
The story was well written in an easy to read format that makes it good for all ages. The tale of powerful corrupt people and how they see the world as theirs for their purpose only with no regard to human life. And a small group of people who to bring the humanity back to a more equal and fair way of life. It almost seems as though the author is describing today environment.
The author is a mastermind. The intricate telling of this plotting and telling of this story over three books was nothing short of brilliant. I binge read this series in less than 24 hours. The story held me transfixed until the very end. You know that moment when you get annoyed at interruptions and you glare at anyone who happens to talk to you while you are reading? Yeah, I had plenty of those moments reading this book.
This trilogy was so addictive. As soon as I finished the first free book, I immediately ordered the second and third, which is completely out of character for me. Mr Ching delivers scene after scene of suspense, action and a sweet romance between the male and female character. At first I thought it was going to be a Amish suspense book which intrigued me. No so, but he contributes customs of the Amish that add to the color of the book. I was sad to see the story end, wish I could read it again with no knowledge of the story. It is one of the best series I remember reading.
I've read all of G. P. Ching's books. I was hesitant at first, because I don't align myself with any particular religion (have always felt that I had a direct connection with God, and "she" and I are able to connect without a middleman), and thought her books were going to be Christian literature. I suppose they are in a way, but not overdone; she's also able to develop a wide range of characters with different views that contribute to the good overpowering evil.
I have enjoyed every one of G. P. Ching's books; love the characters she's created and always hate to see a series end because I have to say good-bye to characters that I've grown to like. I consider myself very spiritual, so find strength through faith to be a positive tool in her plot development. G. P. Ching is a talented writer, and look forward to her future writings.
